my pc desktop is a Acer G3-605 Predator equipped with a microATX motherboard from Acer.I want to change the mobo for an ASUS ATX(consequently the UPS) but I'm not so sure that the new Asus ATX will fit in the predator case.(concerning the fixations/number & place). A technician from Acer said to me that my new card is not referenced by Acer. Ok, but does it mean it's not possible to fix it in my case or simply that Acer don't like the substitution?

By UPS, I am going to assume you meant PSU (Power Supply Unit) which would have to be replaced if you put in a different motherboard. Acer used propitiatory motherboard power pin configurations on that model so in order to upgrade the motherboard the power supply would need to be replaced/upgraded also.

Fitting an ATX formfactor board in a case made for a MicroATX will simply not work - it wont fit. I am not sure how the stand offs are positioned in the Acer case, but I would assume that it is a standard MicroATX configuration - so any MicroAXT board *should* work. I can't tell you that for sure though. Also, you will probably void any warranty/repair plan by putting in a third party board. It is possible, and should work, but just be...
