[0DF8:0838][2019-05-23T12:55:00]e000: Error 0x80070643: Failed to configure per-machine MSI package.
[0DF8:0838][2019-05-23T12:55:00]i319: Applied execute package: Setup, result: 0x80070643, restart: None
[0DF8:0838][2019-05-23T12:55:00]e000: Error 0x80070643: Failed to execute MSI package.

I'm not smart enough to figure this out. Anyone else have any idea or have these problems?

Use Revo Uninstaller to uninstall Aura, Then run CCleaner and scan and fix the registry two times or until there are no items shown.
Then Delete the Asus Aura and AXSP folders.
Then reboot.
Once in windows again make sure to right click on the Zip file from Asus and choose properties, then click on Unblock and Apply.
Then extract the sip file and right click on AsusSetup.exe and choose run as administrator.

If it still doesn't work Google Aura 1.06.17 and try that version, it works for many users who can't get the newer versions working.

Are there any major changes to the software. I went back to 1.06 and it's working. I was just trying to update in case there were any changes or new lighting profiles

Not really, the modes are the same, the newer versions do look better (GUI is nicer) But function basically the same.
I actually got version 1.07.51 working again BUT it only worked after I did a clean install of Win 10.
