Asus Aura sync without RGB Header

During my quest to RGBify my setup I came across a problem my motherboard and my GPU are Asus aura compatible however my motherboard a Asus Maximus Viii hero doesn't have a RGB Header. Is there a way to sync aura compatible case fans and light strips to a mother board without a RGB Header?

Wow I'm stunned that motherboard does not have an RGB header. That is insane. Even Asus's cheap B350 motherboards have aura sync with an RGB header.

What connections do the case fans have? As for the light strips, you need a header.

Think you will need something like the NZXT Hue.

To make use of that would you still need to connect it to the motherboards rgb header which you don't have (not entirely right). Unless it comes with software of it's own,but if you want to use it with software of the motherboards make would you need to do that if i'm getting that picture right.
See now that you can do some light effets and modes with the button/switch on the outside of the case,so yes you could use that in a basic way. Switch likely needs to be set to manual then.
