ASUS auto boots BIOS

Okay... so its a new lap-top. Its like 2 weeks old, no bumps or skratches on it. First it was the sound problem.... the computer wouldnt recodnise any audio drivers or hardware. I went on without sound for a couple of days and then gave me an error, saying my HDD problems were solved and i should restard computer for changes to take affect... after the restart it just starts into BIOS. Doesnt even show the ASUS logo on startup anymore. Just BIOS straight away.... and as a bonus effect my BIOS doesnt show any boot devices in the Boot Priority List.... it recodnises the hitachi 500GB HDD but it doesnt show it in the boot menu. The lap-top is useless right now. Please help? (its an ASUS K55VD)

Right now take or send back when you get a new pc with problems right off the bat dont accept that its a lemon send or take it back.
