ASUS B250 Mining Expert 3 Aux Power Slots

I just bought an ASUS B250 Mining Expert and I saw that there are these 3 4-pin Aux power slots. The manual said that all 3 Aux power slots should be connected on the PSU. I didn't connect those 3 aux power slots and just connect the 24-pin and 6-pin CPU power. My PC didn't get into POST. Should I connect those 3 aux power slots? I'm asking this because I read in one of the forum that there is no need to connect any of those aux power slots if you are just using 1 GPU. Can someone confirm this?

If the directions say to connect the power, and the board doesn't work when the power is not connected, then connect the power and try the experiment. Is there a reason that you can't do this? Does the power supply not have them?
