Hey, guys, I have this motherboard with these specs:

CPU: Intel i7 7700 3.60 GHz
GPU: GeForce GTX 970
PLACA: ASUS PRIME B250M-A (supports till 64 Gb of ram ddr4)
RAM: DDR4 16 GB Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR4 2x8GB/2400

At this point, I'm using my PC to stream/gaming and editing ( premier and after effects)

I will upgrade my graphics on September with a 2070super or maybe a 2070

Ok, then the question is :

Can i keep using 2x8GB 2400 and also a 3th stick of 1x16gb (with kinda the same speed maybe 2666)at the time and keep having dual channel on?

thanks really appreciate

I think you can.
The MB maps the lowest amount of memory from either channel for dual channel. In your case....they would be the same....16 GB in each...

The MB maps the lowest amount of memory from either channel for dual channel. In your case....they would be the same....16 GB in each channel....so I think it should work.

Just make sure the two 8 gig sticks are in one channel and the 16 GB stick is in the other channel.

You don't want an 8 and 16 in one channel.
