I have a 1066 mhz ram, if i buy a 2100mhz and install it in the other ram slot, will it be 3166mhz? or is it only 2100mhz for the ram slot?

mixing 2133 with 2400? sometime they work, sometime they don't
and no you don't add the mhz together

Oh great, im going to get two 8gbs 2133 mhz ram instead of 8gb 1066mhz.

No such thing as DDR4 1066, DDR4 2133 is the slowest DDR4, and using more than 1 stick the speeds do not add.
What ram speeds your board can use depends on the generation of CPU you are using.
