Asus b350-f and ram comparability

Hi, I'm trying to select ram for this build
Cpu- ryzen 5 1600
Mobo- Asus Rog strix b350-f gaming
GpU- evga GeForce gtx 1070 FTW

I was recommended g.skill ram. I read that the Trident Z (non rgb) is good with ryzen because it uses Samsung b-die chip instead of hynix. But I don't know if it is compatible with my motherboard. The QVL that Asus lists seems very outdated and I think the bios updates have made more ram compatible since they don't have many options listed for 2x8gb 3200 mhz at all.
