Purchased a rig last week, everything works great other than the fact that I am unable to stabilize my ram at 3200Mhz with this motherboard. I continuously get BSOD with various messages and have done the following troubleshooting steps in order:
Any help is appreciated, thanks all.
- Flashed Bios (updated to v4207)
- Updated Chipset Drivers
- Completed all Windows updates
- Video card driver update
- RAM profile change to 3200mhz from auto (very unstable and constant BSOD)
- Attempted to change DOCP profile to 3200mhz (bluescreen shortly thereafter)
- BIOS settings for RAM left on Auto, no problem booting or gaming, (no BSOD)
- Tried reseating RAM and testing one stick at a time in all 4 slots, essentially trying 1 or 2 sticks in all possible configurations with the same results as above
- AMD Ryzen 7 2700x
- Asus Strix B350-F Gaming Motherboard
- G.SKILL TridentZ Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600)- (F4-3200C16D-16GTZKW)
- SAMSUNG 970 EVO M.2 2280 500GB PCIe Gen3. X4, NVMe SSD - (MZ-V7E500BW)
- MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 2070 (Armor 8G OC)
- Corsair CP-9020056-NA RM850 PSU
Any help is appreciated, thanks all.
