Purchased a rig last week, everything works great other than the fact that I am unable to stabilize my ram at 3200Mhz with this motherboard. I continuously get BSOD with various messages and have done the following troubleshooting steps in order:

  • Flashed Bios (updated to v4207)
  • Updated Chipset Drivers
  • Completed all Windows updates
  • Video card driver update
  • RAM profile change to 3200mhz from auto (very unstable and constant BSOD)
  • Attempted to change DOCP profile to 3200mhz (bluescreen shortly thereafter)
  • BIOS settings for RAM left on Auto, no problem booting or gaming, (no BSOD)
  • Tried reseating RAM and testing one stick at a time in all 4 slots, essentially trying 1 or 2 sticks in all possible configurations with the same results as above
My hardware:

  • AMD Ryzen 7 2700x
  • Asus Strix B350-F Gaming Motherboard
  • G.SKILL TridentZ Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600)- (F4-3200C16D-16GTZKW)
  • SAMSUNG 970 EVO M.2 2280 500GB PCIe Gen3. X4, NVMe SSD - (MZ-V7E500BW)
  • MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 2070 (Armor 8G OC)
  • Corsair CP-9020056-NA RM850 PSU
I am thinking this is likely a RAM voltage issue, Memtest86 had no errors on 4 passes. Not very many threads with this specific setup, looking to see if someone can help me at least get my ram profile working to its full potential! I would also like to be able to OC my chip and video card down the line but this BSOD issue is really frustrating..

Any help is appreciated, thanks all.
