[SOLVED] ASUS B450-F: can't get Windows 10 installed on NVMe SSD

I've been spending hours on this at this point, have searched many forums and tried many approached, but no luck.

• I've created a bootable flash drive with Win 10
• installed Kingston A2000 (1Tb) in M.2 slot
• disabled CSM in BIOS
• hit F8 on launch and selected thumb drive to boot from
• began the Win10 install process
• deleted all partitions on the SSD

Here's where things go bad:

The install seems to begin, but within a few seconds I get this error:

"Windows could not prepare the computer to boot into the next phase of the installation. To install Windows, restart the installation."

Would love any suggestions!

Solution
Followed the instructions here:

The only change was a couple of instruction when setting up the installation drive, e.g., partitioning the install file by 3800 (I had previously used 4000) and also MBR instead of GPT. Looks like it's actually installing Windows now!
