[SOLVED] Asus B450-F Gaming not posting with orange led

Hello, my friend had this mobo for 2 and a half years with a r7 2700x, rtx 2060 and 2x8 corsair vengeance lpx 3200mhz. One day it suddenly stop posting.

So I took it to test it on my system which had a r5 2600x,rx 6600xt and 2x8gb gskill tridentz rgb 3000mhz. It posted with no issues so I started using it for some days until today.

Today I got an r7 2700x too bcs I found it very cheap on second hand market. But guess what? Now my system doesn't post too. The led is yellow-orange which is dram issue as Asus says. I cleared cmos but still not posting. Note that I had updated to latest bios 5003 some days ago.

The board you have at hand has an option for BIOS recovery it's dubbed as ASUS CrashFree BIOS 3, instructions to which can be found in the motherboard manual;

page 3-26, section 3.11.3. Give that a go and see if recovering/reflashing the BIOS using that method helps revive the system/platform.

Ok nice I did a rookie mistake today. For some reason every ryzen system I have built until now, didn't have to apply so much pressure to the cpu as this one.

The issue was that the cpu wasn't properly attached to the socket. Watchout rookie builders.
