ASUS B450-F with Ryzen 2600x best RAM

Hi guys,

I want to buy a new PC with Ryzen 2600x and RX 590. I want to ask about the best RAM for this equipment. Will 2933Mhz be enough or is there a lot to be gained from 3200Mhz? This also correlates with my second question. As I have read the ASUS B450-F can handle only 2933Mhz, therefore for 3200Mhz RAM I am considering the X470.

The question is if it will be of any benefit for me to go for 3200Mhz, which would end in more costs and since I am on a budget I want to avoid this. However, if the benefit will be good enough I may consider this.

Also, will the motherboard be compatible with the 2600x and RX 590 or should I go straight for the X470?

And one more thing, what would be the best RAM timing for 2600x?

Not much to be gained by 3200MHz memory although it's a "sweet spot" for it. If you could lower timings on 3000/2933MHz RAM you can get same performance.

I have the b450-f, it supports higher speed ram but its considered an overclock. I am running a corsair rgb pro 16gig cl16 3200mhz that i clocked up to 3466 without problem, the mobo supports even higher.
