I assume you already have this motherboard, with a Ryzen 1000 or Ryzen 2000 CPU installed, correct ?
Yes it can easily handle the 3700x, BUT you need to Update the AMD Chipset Drivers first:

Then enter the BIOS and set the Optimized Default Settings and save and reboot.
Then, I personally updated the BIOS one version at a time and cleared the CMOS after each update.
Once you get the BIOS updated to version 2704 (the current versiuon as of today), install the 3700x and boot the PC and enter the BIOS and set the optimized default settings again and reboot.
Then if it boots fine you can enter the BIOS and change whatever settings you want or need to.
I have mine running with PBO enabled with a 200 MHZ max Boost and the Motherboard setting my PBO Limits:
