[SOLVED] asus b450f good enough?

Howdy, My bud has gotten a 2700x second hand for cheap and now needs a new board. His last board was asus and is slightly biased toward them. Will a b450-f be good enough for a 2700x, no overclocking, just at stock speeds? The stock cooler will be used.

I'm open to other manufacturers at ~$120 with rgb, but nearly every msi board I used back in the am3 days ended up dead or crippled in some manner, so I am hesitant to use them, despite evidence suggesting they have turned around. If they have become reliable, I may yet consider msi again.

I find the b450-f incredibly tacky and I am sure that tacky i/o shield isn't doing any favors for the vrm, but it should be fine for a 2700x at stock. He will be mainly gaming with some light use of PS and maybe Premier/AE later on.
