ASUS B85-G windows xp sp3

I newly bought a desktop ASUS B85-G windows 8.1 core i5 processor.. But when i tried to swap it with my old HDD windows xp sp3 it just stay in startup.. Please help me i need to keep xp for my work

Unless that Asus B85-G is the EXACT SAME motherboard that you used to have, they you are probably out of luck. A motherboard swap usually requires a fresh OS install. If you can get drivers for XP for that motherboard you might be able to do a clean install.

I do search that it is possible to run xp on this motherboard but i have no idea on how to use bios updater bios and RTL811g_GR_XP

Asus B85-G uses an Intel 8 series chipset. The Intel 7 chipset series was the last Intel chipset to support Windows XP and Vista. There is NO support for Windows XP or Vista with Intel 8 or 9 series chipsets or newer Intel chipsets.

You might try Windows XP compatibility mode with a newer operating system such as Windows 7 or 8.
