Asus B85-pro gamer, ram issue

Hi guys im a big fan of tom's hardware, and its my first post. Newbie.

I recently bought this rig here are the specs,

I5-4690k
Asus b85-pro gamer
G. Skill ddr3 1600mhz 8gb
Geforce GT 9500 1GB(Old school)
Seasonic M12II bronze evo 850w

Questions:
When i bootup my bios, i see my Ram specs however i only see 1333mhz. My concern is i bought a 1600mhz and its showing up 1333mhz, will it affect my performance? Do i need to make adjustment on my bios?

Note: i just assembled this so all settings are just like plug and play i am still afraid of bios, lol.

You need to enter the bios and enable the XMP profile to get the DDR3 1600 speeds.

The defult in xmp profile is 10-10-10-30 should i change it to 9-9-9-24?

If that's what the ram is rated for the yes. Usually XMP loads the proper timings. What's the exact model# of the ram?

That ram is rated for 10-10-10-30. It might run at 9-9-9-24 and might not.
