Hi toms, I could use a little help.

I have a serious problem with my rig right now. 2 days ago I bought a second hand i5-4460 and Asus B85m-g, both came with the complete accessories but it doesnt have the receipt anymore for the warranty.

The problem is, the first time I replaced my current MOBO and CPU with this, connecting all the necessary cables (FPanel, Front USB, Audio, HDD, 20Pin, 4Pin) it worked and turned on, it went into the POST so I thought everything was okay so I shut it down and fixed the cables but when I tried turning it on the second time, it wont turn on even the fans doesnt flicker then the Mobo and PSU was flashing a greenlight. I tried researching about it on google, did every solution I could find, doing it step-by-step, but unfortunately none worked. This is getting reallly frustrating so please help me out.

Rig Specs:

Intel i5-4460
Asus b85m-g
Cruciall Ballistix Sports 4GB 1x4GB
500GB WD HDD
1 DVD writer
PSU: Beastec 250W

Solutions tried:

1. Power on (still on greenlight flashing both on MOBO and PSU), then after removing the 20 Pin on the MOBO, the PSU's greenlight became solid, then after putting back the 20 Pin again, both the MOBO and PSU blinked green.

BTW PSU is still working, I'm using it now so I ruled that out.

2. Removed and replaced the RAM and with Corsair vengance (Friends). Stil not working.

3. Double checked the CPU for burnt marks. None.

If you guys have any other solutios please enlighten me or if you have encountered this please do share what information you have to fix this.

Thank you for reading

Looking forward to our discussion 🙁

Hey man, thanks. Yeah the green light is blinking but the PSU still works, I'm using it right now. Does this mean my current PSU power cant compensate for the i5 4460's power requirement?
