My Asus B85M-G won't boot without a monitor plugged in. Instead, it will just beep for a few times and stop doing anything. But once I have a monitor plug back on to the VGA port everything work just fine. (I have not try DVI nor the HDMI port as I don't have a monitor that support them)

My question is it there a way/setting for me to boot up without a monitor? All my other motherboards can work without a monitor plugged in.

When I connect a monitor to the mother board, I am using the on board video.
If I do so, the mother board will boot up just fine.

I cant understand: you wish to use computer without monitor?

If you have no problems with integrated videocard, but have problems with PCIEx videocard - you need to test that videocard on another motherboard or another videocard on your motherboard.
If still problem - check pins in the PCIEx16 slot of your B85M-G motherboard, maybe clean them. Check pins under CPU too.
If still problem - you can get PCIE RISER and test it in PCIEx1 slot.

If still problem - bios or chipset may be bad. RMA.

Yes, I wish to use the computer without a monitor. The motherboard just won't boot(and I don't see any boot up disk access) without a monitor plugged in to the VGA port. Yet with a monitor(even when it is off) connected, the system will boot up just fine.

Sorry I don't have that, I don't think any one I know has one for PCIEx1. That MB only has 2 PCIEx1 and a PCIEx16 slot.

I apologize for my really slow reply. Tons of things happened on my end lately.
