Let me start by saying I am not nearly as tech-savvy as most users on this site seem, but I'm desperate for help. I have an Asus UX-31e that I've had no problems with until recently. Starting a couple of months ago, I started receiving Blue Screen errors. This error occurs only while the machine is in sleep mode. I have never experienced a random blue screen while on the machine. I have removed several of the Windows updates that the Microsoft site suggests might be causing this error. I have also run every system check possible with the exception of the Windows Memory Diagnostics test. Every time I try to run that particular diagnostics test, my laptop only gives a backlit black screen for hours on end with no progress. I am leaving the country for the entire summer in a week so I don't have time to return the laptop to Asus. Please help!
