ASUS Crosshair V Formula 990FX Socket AM3+ 8 Channel audio ATX

Hi, i have just bought a new motherboard, ASUS Crosshair V Formula 990FX Socket AM3+ 8 Channel audio ATX, after my sabertooth 990fx r2.0 had failed just after 2 days of purchase, my question is do you guys think that fitting 2x 8 GB corsair 1600 MHz should be fine with this motherboard? As I couldn't find nothing regarding this on the web.
