Hi so i recently bougth another motherboard since my MSI X99 Sli Died. My new one is the x99 deluxe from asus but i cannot make to work the m.2 i already updated the bios and is not even showing up in bios or windows. do you guys think that my m.2 also died with the motherboard?

Solution
NVMe SSDs do not appear within the BIOS until Windows creates the system partition with the EFI Boot Sector. Your M.2 SSD contains UEFI driver information within the firmware. By disabling the CSM module Windows will read and utilize the M.2-specific UEFI driver during the Windows installation.
