ASUS Desktop Shuts Down randomly, won't reboot

I just bought an ASUS desktop (M11BB Series) as a lower-end gaming computer that I can upgrade as I go. The computer is only two weeks old, since I started using it. All I've installed on it are games and Google Chrome, no shady software or anything like that. Today, it randomly started shutting down on me...however, the fans are still running, the power light is still on, and I have to manually hit the "off" button on the power strip to cut it off.

Basically the fans run, and the machine won't power down, even though the OS isn't operating and there's no signal going to the monitor.

Here are my specs:
8gb RAM
AMD A10-6700 APU with integrated graphics (Processor)
AMD Radeon HD 8670D (Integrated graphics card)
1tb Hard Drive
Windows 8 OS

I admit I can get to the Device Manager to look some stuff up, but I have no idea what I'm looking for with the motherboard and whatnot. Just need some input on whether or not this is an easy fix, or if I should return the computer and learn how to build my own from scratch.

Also, nothing is overclocked at all.

Thanks for the help!

that honestly sounds like bad psu issue. pre-built pc's tend to use cheap sub standard psu's. and would cause symptoms like this. if it is only 2 weeks old i would contact asus or where you brought it from and get a new one

When I go into Device Manager, how do I find what motherboard and PSU I have? (I'm admittedly a novice when it comes to hardware.) If I can find that out and do some research on what the PSU is, I'll probably take it back.
