ASUS detachable won't boot after W8 reset then immediate Windows 10 install

Factory reset my W8 transformer (Asus T200TA) using the control panel.

After the fresh W8 install completed, I immediately went online and installed W10.

After installing W10 the laptop won't pass the ASUS page. Restarted several times, occasionally I get to choices like Reset, System Restore, but none of them succeed. Complete reset fails. Reset retaining user data fails. No system restore points available.

Anyone have ideas what I can do?

try pressing f9 as it boots up to get to the recovery partition
