I am planning on building a gaming pc soon and I was stuck on choosing which graphics card I should get. The Asus and Powercolor are the same price, so I was just wondering which cooler is better, quieter, and which company is more reliable. I will be getting the r9 270x version.

Thanks in advance

Asus is my absolute favorite company of all time, brilliant manufacturers!

The Asus card boasts about being quieter and cooler than most, and it should be quieter than the Powercolor card since it has 3 fans and the Asus only has 2.

There shouldn't really be a problem with temperatures with either card at all.

The Powercolor card has a slightly higher Core Clock speed, but nothing that will really make a difference.

I don't know much at all about Powercolor and have had nothing but brilliant experiences with Asus, so if it were up to me I would go with the Asus Card.

The quality of the PowerColor Devil13 card is incredible. You can tell when you pick it up that its sturdy and also the aluminum PCB cover is really nice. I like how it only required two 6 pin power connectors instead of two 8 pins, saving me from having to buy adapters. It was easily overclocked to 1250mhz core and 1450 mhz memory no problem. Also the drivers for it have not conflicted at all. This is tested on Windows 7 - Ultimate 64-bit. It also had really nice packaging and the mouse pad is pretty cool. I switched out my Razer Goliathus for it actually. It's really smooth and quite large.

: Price, for what this card offers, it is a hell of a deal.
: Highest Core Clock Speed among the R9 270x series
: Ability to run any game on High/Ultra
: Awesome looks, from the card itself. The packaging is sweet, along with the gigantic mouse pad that comes along with it.

This is NOT solved because the Asus 270X is NOT the best option for the price. The Power Color 270X DEVIL is the better card. It has better build quality, overclocks higher (I've got mine up to 1280mhz gpu max and run it at 1260mhz daily), Better/Quieter cooling, Platinum 90% efficient power delivery, Free high quality mouse pad, Top notch packaging that really shows the cards greatness and the DEVIL design is MUCH better looking than the Asus card.

The only problem I've found with the Power Color DEVIL is the 2x Dual Link DVI-I outputs. It would be much better done like any other 270X with a Dual Link DVI-I and a Single Link DVI-D.

But overall the Power Color 270X DEVIL is the best you can get other than the Sapphire 270X Toxic.

Sorry if you bought the Asus 270X...
