DisplayWidget software can change the settings of the monitor, it's quite convenient not to bother with the buttons on the monitor. However ,it doesn't support my Asus MG278Q . Is there another application that can change the monitor's settings , specially brightness?

Solution
There's one I use called "ScreenBright": http://forums.videocardz.com/topic/322-screenbright/

Warning: Be sure to set your monitor's colour settings mode (using the buttons & on-screen menu) to "Manual" or "User" before using ScreenBright, otherwise the monitor's colour presets will be permanently changed and no way to get them back to factory setting..

Thank you for the answer. I ll check it.

BTW , there is an option in AMD drivers menu , Brightness . But does this change the blacklightning level of the monitor , or does it just send a darker/brighter picture to the monitor?
