Asus doesnt know its a asus ???

Tryin to install drivers exp...the famous atk0100 BUT when i try to update it or even the bios it keeps bringing up a error say these installs are for a asus notebook only ????? hello thats what it is !!!! anyway to fix this?????? help

I had the same problems first with my ASUS laptop.
What kind of laptop is it?
Have you tried downloading it from the official site? Are you sure you have the right OS?
If you downloaded it from the official site,try another website for drivers
