ASUS DRAM LED staying lit

New build DRAM LED staying solid orange on power on. Hasn’t gone past POST.

Ripjaws V 2x8GB DDR4

After pressing MemOK orange led flashing slowly, after a while started flashing quicker, then stayed solid orange. Between each shift the CPU LED flashes red for an instant.

Already reset the CLRTC

Suspect CPU problem.

First thoroughly check ALL memory slots for damaged, missing contacts. Also make sure there is no dust, dirt, nor debris of any kind within the slots.

Make sure the memory modules are seated properly.

Remove CPU and thoroughly check it and its socket for any damaged, bent, missing pins and pads. There shouldn't be any dust, dirt, nor debris of any kind on or amongst the pins and pads. Remount CPU carefully and evenly. Uneven mounting can cause loss of contact between pins and pads which in turn leads to all sorts of problems.
