Can someone please shed some light on the setup for this modem/router??

AFAIK I've done everything right with the install, but its not connecting to the internet, instead throwing up "PPPoE, PPPoA or VPN authentication failed."

Trying to upgrade from my average connection with TG 587n v3 and the asus looked like a worthy upgrade after reading some reviews. However after getting these errors and trying to figure out why, it seems a lot of them were/are faulty..

Now I wont lie, I have no idea what PPPoE, PPPoA or VPN are.. So how would I fix them?
I'm sure I haven't included enough info for a troubleshoot but please let me know what you need and I will do my best to supply it.

Solution
Point-to-point protocol (PPP) requires a username and password be configured in the modem. You'll also need to configure any other settings required by your ISP. You may be able to get this information by logging in to your old modem and viewing it. If you post the name of your ISP, someone may be able to assist you further.

If you don't have the password or you can't view it in the old modem, you'll need to contact your ISP for assistance.

Okay so going into my old modem gateway I found my PPPoE username and contacted my ISP to reset my password.
New modem is now working and I will start to tweak anything else that needs attention. Thanks Buddha.
