Asus Dual 1070 Clearance for MSI H110m Gaming Motherboard?

I've been eyeing the Asus Dual OC 1070 8GB GPU for a while and I have been saving up money for it as well.But recently my friend has had an issue with graphics card clearance on his Micro ATX Mobo and it made me think about it as well. The issue is that there are 2 SATA ports right at the edge of the motherboard and I'm wondering whether or not I will be able to just place the graphics card in and have it go over the ports or what. GPU is almost 10 in long. Your mobo is just 8,1 in wide, that SATA port eats about 1 in, leaving some 7 in. I'd say it wont fit.

The sata port only takes up a third of an inch so I don't think it would be too much of a problem. But let me know if that is still too much.
