Hi,

I'm planning to get me Asus AEX1950Pro card and replace the cooler with the Arctic Accelero S1 to make it silent.

Currently I have the Sapphire X1950Pro which has crappy design and the VRM overheats with Accelero S1. Those VRMs REALLY burn!

Does anyone know if that Asus card has similar problems?

ps. My sapphire GPU was at 47C when the VRM crash, so the cooler was working GREAT, except for the VRMs :(

I would, if it wasn't for these couple of reasons:

1: If i get problems with the card, I need the original cooler so that I'm able to RMA the card.
2: I live in Finland and cost for mailing it would probably be quite big... Just buy the S1, I think Powercolor actually sells the card with that cooler. (http://www.arctic-cooling.com/vgapartners1.php) Just buy the S1 and install it.

Yea they sell the accelero X2 on one model, but I got the cheaper one with the hopeless single-slot reference cooler that burns up the VRMs. So the S1 is no good? Darn, I wanted to get it too, coz its now cheaper than the X2.
