Is the Asus ENGTX550 graphics card compatible with the Asus P5G41C-M mother board?

My motherboard is the Asus P5G41C-M & I want to get the Asus ENGTX550 graphics card, but I get confused coz the card is GDDR5 & the motherboard is DDR3 what is the difference between the 2?

Yes, the Graphics card will work in that motherboard. Most video cards use the GDDR5 standard for graphics memory, while motherboards use DDR3 for system memory. The two types do not interfere with on another.
