Hi,
I have an ASUS Essence STX II and every time I connect it to my JBL LSR305's I get noise, a lot of noise.
In a game like CSGO i get enough noise to literally drive me mad.
At first I thought it was a grounding issue so i replaced my PSU, nothing changed
oddly enough when i hit shift in minecraft the noise changes in pitch and tone slightly...
What i have tried:
Moving the soundcard to a different PCIe Lane.
Plugging the Monitors into different jacks (front IO, back headphone, back RCA, onboard back IO) all have varying levels of noise.
Tested speakers and sound card in an old HP gaming computer and the noise was significantly reduced
Untested:
EMI shield backplate on sound card
Specs:
Intel i7-5930k at 4ghz
Asus X99 Deluxe
G.Skill DDR4 4x4gb 3ghz
Nvidia Reference 980 ti
Asus Essence STX II
Corsair Obsidian 750D
Setup with GPU in top slot and Sound card in bottom slot
PLEASE HELP ME! IM LOSING MY MIND MAKE THE NOISE STOP!!!!!! HGAGASDFDSAFSDA
