I recently replaced my old stock graphics card with a ASUS EX-GTX1060-6OC card to try to extend the life of my old Dell XPS 8500 for another year or two. I'm very pleased with the results overall. Most applications seem unaffected and my flight simulator systems run much better.
I do notice a problem with Firefox though. Many of the live spots are invisible although if you can find them, they work. Other parts of pages have trouble displaying. However, Edge works properly. I can't seem to find a way to increase the contrast enough in Firefox to make it display correctly. I'd appreciate any insight into this problem.
I have installed the latest video drivers offered by ASUS. Should I install more recent NVIDIA drivers from other sources?
Thanks for the help in this area,
Jim Driskell
