Hello!
So I was able to understand where I was getting the Windows 8.1 Blue Screen (WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR) message from
I was trying to use ASUS Ez Tuning Wizard in bios to optimize my rig for the gaming setting
After I do that and try to boot to Windows, I get the blue screen
So after resetting my bios to default and then booting to windows it worked perfectly!

The problem here is that the ram I have is 1866MHz, but I only get 1600MHz
The only way to achieve that additional ram speed and additional performance in this case is using the ASUS Ez Tuning Wizard, but if I use that I obviously get the Blue Screen

Is there a work around for this?
Not only does my ram go up to its actual speed through Ez tuning but I also get more CPU Performance

So if anybody has a solution that would be great!

Solution
Ez Tuning is basically just an auto overclock software. They use set values obtained from testing many CPUs, but the settings do not work for every CPU.

Yes, to change the RAM to its rated 1866 MHz frequency, just switch over to XMP.
The overclock that ASUS Ez Tuning Wizard is applying to the CPU is not stable. In order to change the ram to the rated 1866 MHz you need to go into the advanced tweaker tab, and from there can either input the values yourself or use XMP.

Read up on overclocking your Haswell CPU before you start manually overclocking it within the BIOS.

I do really want to overclock my CPU,
So to get RAM up to its right speed just switch the profile to XMP?
Assuming no need for EZ Tuning?

Solution
Hello I am having an issue where when I change to XMP and try to reboot, my computer does not reboot I have to do it manually then it says error and I have to reset it to defaults in order to start up computer.

This happens when I try to oc the cpu or use the ez tune, it used to work before

I have the same issues on my ASUS prime z270m plus every time I use easy tune and the comp restarts I get a black screen and that's it. The only way I can fix it is to pull the battery off the motherboard for a minute and then put it back.
