Hello,
I haven't built anything for a while, but decided to upgrade my old desktop that's been hanging around.

I checked the specs for upgrading the RAM as step one:
And the Asus website gives: (Motherboard is F2A55)
4 x DIMM, Max. 64GB, DDR3 2400(O.C.)/2250(O.C.)/2200(O.C.)/2133(O.C.)/2000(O.C.)/1866/1600/1333/1066 MHz Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory

So I purchased a 64GB kit, (4x 16GB) which are PC3-12800R DDR3-1600 ECC

When I install them I get one long beep, followed by two short (no memory detected).

I have tried swapping them around and running just one, but always get the error.

Any advice?
Thanks,
Dean
edit: added motherboard model in body.

Compare first paragrph with second, do you see the abbreviation ECC?
