Asus F550C Laptop Stuck in Bios

Hi everyone! Iv'e been having trouble getting out of bios. So here's the problem.
I shutdown my computer and when i turned it on again Im stuck in bios.
Please Help!

Specs: Widows 8 (x64), Intel i7 core, Nvidia GT720M.

No that doesn't work. Oh and by the way it does not detect my os hard drive and my data drive.

Must be a BIOS setting wrong or a corrupt BIOS. Try Advanced Settings tab, change SATA Mode to IDE

Another possibility we must consider is a failed HDD. If you have access to another machine capable of burning a CD, download Seatools for DOS ISO (http://www.seagate.com/support/internal-hard-drives/consumer-electronics/ld25-series/seatools-dos-master/) and burn it to a disk. Change the boot order in BIOS to DVD drive 1st and run the software, start with Short test and if it passes that try the Long one...

Nope didn't work. Ive figured that it was my OS of Windows 8 and it was faulty. I will be getting a new Alienware computer and will immediately be downgrading to Windows 7

Agreed what you experienced is frustrating, but suspect it's not all W8's fault. More likely a combination of 8 boot sector and the new UEFI which seems to be causing problems all over. I would give 8 a chance on the Alienware, when it's running well it is a superior OS...

Just for the sake of putting information on the web I'd like to share a similar info in case someone is stuck with the same problem.

After upgrading BIOS version on my Asus Zenbook, the laptop would not move further from BIOS screen.
That plus that OS wasn't seeing or recognizing the hard drive, SSD in this case.
I spent many hours looking for the solution, talked to Asus tech support who told me the laptop will have to be sent in for the repair.

The fix, it turned out, couldn't have been simpler:
disable UEFI secure boot.
After that the laptop worked fine. I went back a forth once and as soon as I enabled UEFI secure boot same thing happened.

Don't know what new BIOS version has to do with not passing UEFI secure boot certification, I thought that was hardware related, but that's what happened.
