Asus FX5200 problems

Barton 2500, corsair512, A7N8X dl, 2*160gb sata raid mirror, bios updated
Hi, I realise this isn't a gaming card, I use mainly multi monitor 2d office
apps, however the occasional rest!
SimCity4 doesn't run, i.e. white screen have to end task/processes
RairoadTycoon4 runs then exits after 1min, no input necessary
DirectX9b shows no problems in all tests
Tried 3 versions of Asus drivers and 3 more of Nvidia re.drivers
Used diff. display/color/refresh
Single Monitor mode.
Any recommendations? - I prefer nvidia multi monitor support over ATI -

Hi !

I run Sim City 4 and Railroad Tycoon3 in 1024 x 768with no problems on an
Athlon XP2000 with 512MB RAM, Geforce fx5200 and an old harddrive (system
weaker than yours). Don´t give up !

Mmm... can you re-install Directx, and check if your motherboard
drivers are installed well.

Directx passes all tests, Soundstorm all Ok, other mobo functions ie raid is
OK
I ran 3DMark03 all ran OK results being 1418, which seems to be OK when
compared to other similar sys.
I should have mentioned RRTycoon3 ran fine a few weeks ago; no hardware,
software changes since then, no crashes

Mmm, maybe the game is just buggy. I had more problems with RRTycoon
then..well actually most Tycoons gave strange problems....
