Asus G50V Display not working

Hi all users from TomsHardware , I would like to know why my ASUS g50V display isn't working .
This laptop was given to me somedays ago because it wasn't working and the display was taken of , I managed to make it work , but I tried to connect the laptop to my computer monitor (Since I don't have the display on the laptop) with a VGA cable but nothing shows , the computer lights are working I hear the fan working . I don't really have experience with laptops so I dont know what it might be , since it doesn't has a display could it be the tape ( I don't know if its called like that in english ) ?

If not the tape what can it be?
I dont know if there is something missing It haves Ram / Hard drive / Wireless controller / Processor

I dont know about the graphic card , I don't know how to identify it on the laptop.

Try the key Fn+F7 and see whether it comes.

Nothing . When my monitor isnt connected through the cable it happears "no signal" which is normaly and the ligh on it isn't blinking , but when I connect the cable the monitor is black and the light starts to blink.
