Asus G51VX-RX05 No Sound or USB

So i just purchased a asus g51vx-rx05 for what i believed to be a steal, $175, but i find out that the usb ports don't work as well as the sound. I reinstalled windows countless amounts of times, installed all the proper drivers, but i keep getting a error 10 cannot start, and i later found out that the usb port in the back seems as though it were damaged because the plastic cover on the usb port was broken/damaged maybe even shorted, but I was wondering if it were possible to fix. I have quite of experience in repairing motherboards and I have done jobs from reflows, reballs, replace capacitors, and jtagging, but I am stumped on this one. Btw this is my first post on tomshardware, and I am hoping I can be of assistance for future related questions. I attached a few pictures of the board. If anyone has any advice please let me know. I am all ears.

I have the same problem with a Toshiba Satellite L505D-S5983. I ran a check with PC-Check and was able to confirm that the problem is in the hardware. I'm not an expert on laptop mobos but my educated guess is a bad IC or other component, also perhaps a short or a damaged lead. I haven't disassembled mine yet, I'm trying to learn more about the problem before I get into it since everything else on the machine is working. I've found similar symptoms described in other articles related to me model but none have been $o1ved. If I get anymore info I'll post it!
