The problem is that it doesnt boot, to describe my problem I will explain the behavior Im having.
When I press the power button the symptoms are the following: the battery and charging leds, as well as all the leds above the keyboard turn on and stay like that, the hard drive led blinks 2-3 times for 2-3 seconds and then turn off, but the hard disk stays working (I have tested it in another laptop and it works fine, so this is not the problem), also, since I pressed the power button the fans start working low and increase their speed until they are too fast and make a lot of noise, then the laptop suddenly turns of, no sounds, no screen, nothing more, if I try inmediatly to turn it on again, then it turns off almost inmeadiatly and now the fans start spinning fast since the first moment.
I had the no video issue before, but I was able to turn it on with some tricks, like completely dischargind the power pressing power button 30 seconds and then pressing it again to turn it on, pressing and some point in the keyboard, so something could make contact inside the laptop, trying several times, or let some time happens. However since I realize this issue was present when I moved the laptop like in my backpack to school, I decided to use it as a desktop, but after a while working well I gave it a chance, but the problem came again, now with no luck to turn it on again, so I diassembled and assembled it again (just that), but this didn't work, so i decided to open it again and remove the dust and repaste the GPU, applying thermal paste on the circuits that had thermal pads, because I didnt know what they were until I made some research, but then, after assembly it again, the issue I described first became present.
I dont know what to do, I have some options but I dont want to take them without some opinions from you guys, the first one would be to reapply the thermal paste to the GPU, and now to the CPU too, and to put new thermals pads where they originally where, the other one is to take it to a professional center, but it would be expensive and I dont have a lot of budget for this.
What do you think is happening? Do you think is a heat issue and my first solution is going to work? What else could I try? Do you think maybe it was a static discharge when handling components that caused some damage to them? Im out of ideas, and hope you could give me some light!
Sorry, but Asus has dissapointed me with this laptop since the begining, bad USB 3.0 port, speakers problem and power jack center pin broken.
