Asus G750: onboard sound card any good?

How is the onboard sound card for gaming?
Sufficient enough or would I be better off getting a usb sound card (siberia v2)

You're better off with a good USB headset. I have an Alienware M17X and MSI GT70 - my ASUS G750J audio is the worst ever. And DO NOT use the Realtek drivers - leave it alone with the Windows default drivers.

Audio gets significantly better, but still not great, once I plug in my Rosewill RHTS-8206.
