ASUS G750JX Random FPS spikes

Hi there.

For awhile now I have had random FPS spikes while playing games. It happens at random and FPS drops to 0 for 1-5 seconds. Input commands are still registered though. I have tried absolutely everything I can in order to fix this issue, from full factory restores to installing old versions of drivers, and even underclocking. I have noticed that it does not depend on how intensive the game is, for example I experience it much less in World of Warcraft than in Albion Online, and Albion is a game that you can play on android phones and tablets for example.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Have you checked the temps when running and not running the games you are having the problems during?

Also, if using NVIDIA (didn't see card listed), you can try turning off the adaptive power settings in the Nvidia control panel.
