So i have a 32 inch 1080p Samsung monitor and i'm looking to buy a good gaming monitor which has 1440p and is 27 inch because its my favourite size in terms of monitors. My question is for my 6gb video card (which is gtx 880m) can i get a 27 inch 1440p 75hz monitor or even 144hz or i just won't be able to push out that much frames. I'm going to use the monitor mainly for gaming but a lot of reading and watching videos on youtube aswell so still it needs to have high quality image.
I will be playing mainly esports games like pubg, cs go, league of legends, maybe some fortnite and some like ETS 2 and WoW.
Thanks in advance

You can certainly connect that laptop to a 1440p monitor, even up to 144Hz* - but obviously you'll have to lower settings substantially to drive 144FPS in game.

Your laptop has HDMI and Thunderbolt. While an 880M could've been implemented with HDMI1.4, you might find you're limited to 1440p @ max 75Hz when using HDMI.

You could use Thunderbolt to DisplayPort though, and have no issues running 144Hz.
