I have gaming laptop and a PS4 Pro. So far I've only been playing exclusives on the PS4 and on the laptop I usually play FPS or RTS games. But when it comes to games like Tomb Raider I wonder which system should I choose to play on? So I guess my question is which one is more powerful? I know most games will be extra polished to run better on the consoles due to standardised hardware so that's also a factor.

Laptop specs:
Intel Core i7 8750H Coffee Lake, 17.3" LED 1920x1080 TN 120Hz , RAM 8GB, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB GDDR5, SSD 128GB + SSHD 1TB

You'll end up down the rabbit hole here in the Console vs PC debate.

Ultimately, for a "set it and forget it" experience, Consoles make the most sense.

A 1050TI should net you solid 1080p (Medium-ish) settings on SotTR, with the flexibility to mess around with in-game settings.

On console, you can have 4K 30Hz, or 1080p 60Hz, but I'm not sure what the equivalent "preset" would be.

Probably 50/50 for that title specifically, probably with a slight edge towards console IMO.
