Hi all,
I'm experiencing a strange issue with my graphics card which is a:
ASUS GeForce GTX 570 DirectCUII - 1280 Mo GDDR5 - PCI-Express 2.0
I have to install the video drivers EVERY time I start the computer.
What happens is that as soon as I start my PC, even though the video card is working, it is not at his full power. With some games (like Skyrim or even a very old FPS like CrossFire) I have poor fps. So I have to install the drivers again and everything it's fine. But as soon as I reset my PC the performances are bad again and I have to reinstall the drivers (and yes, it's always the latest version of the drivers).
I tried long ago to contact the ASUS support but all they come up with was: you have to try the graphics card on another computer and/or another graphics card on your PC.
Like I have a PC store at home.....
Any idea on how to fix this annoying issue?
The PC configuration is the following:
- ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 - Socket AM3 - Chipset 890GX - ATX
- AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz Black Edition 125 W (HDZ965FBGMBOX)
- ASUS GeForce GTX 570 DirectCUII - 1280 Mo GDDR5 - PCI-Express 2.0 (ENGTX570 DCII/2DIS/1280MD5)
- COOLER MASTER Cabinet PC CM 690 II Advanced
- CORSAIR Memory PC Vengeance Performance 2 x 4 GB DDR3-1600 - PC3-12800 - CL9 (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9)
- CORSAIR PC Enthusiast Series TX650 V2 - 650 W (CP-9020038-EU)
Thanks to all.
