Hello there. I was surfing the web when I came across a deal for an ASUS GeForce GTX 970 TURBO OC for 309 dollars. Currently, I have a Sapphire Dual-X R9 270 paired with an i3 4150(planning to upgrade to an i5 ), 8gb of ram, a 550w Sirtec PSU, and a Zalman Z11 Neo case. My question is, is the card worth buying? I've seen some reviews saying that it is a good card, but it is pretty loud and it gets hot. A bit of noise wouldn't be much of a problem but if it's really noisy then it can become a problem, as I usually play using my Logitech X-530s, although I also have a pair of HyperX Clouds. The next cheapest 970 is an MSI gaming, the red version, and it costs 390 dollars, so it is out of question. Thank you in advance.

May I ask where you live? If you're in the United States, you can get other models of 970 around that price. Here are a couple of example :

EVGA GTX970 SC ACX 2.0 $297,99 on NCIXUS
MSI GTX 970 $319,95
Zotax GTX 970 : $305,89

These are all great choices. I have the exact same EVGA model, and it works great. The fans are very silent at idle when you set them up and also pack quite a lot of cooling power when you load them up.

Unfortunately, I live outside of the US, specifically in Romania. These are the prices of a Romanian retailer. The deal is over anyway, but thank you all for the answers. I was particularly interested if the card was noisy, but after seeing a few online videos, I've seen that it sounds like a vacuum cleaner under load.
