Hello and good evening, everyone. I have an issue and I can't seem to find any relatable solutions anywhere.
I bought an ASUS RX 580 the other day and obviously it came with the Asus GPU Tweak 2 software, which I used to set the mode for the GPU, which most of the time was set to Gaming mode. Well I updated Windows 10 to the latest version - 1809, and I noticed that my gaming performance took a big hit. I looked in GPU Tweak and the GPU Usage was 101% constantly, with the memory clock being at its max. I figured a simple mode switch would fix it, but no matter what mode I switched to, if it changed the clocks, it would crash Windows with a full red or green screen and then the pc would restart automatically. I used MSI Afterburner also, and although it showed the correct clock speeds, again, any slight OC resulted in a Windows crash and restart.
I tried re-installing the drivers and even rolling back to the previous version of Windows, but that did not help at all, and now I'm at a major blockade. Any help would be super awesome. Thank you!
