ASUS GPU TWEAK II 0db fan setting? off or on?

Hi all,

Trying to figure out the fan setting here. Do I want the red owl highlighted or Off? Which one allows for the fans to stay off until 65 F? I just can't tell whether the feature is on or off currently. Does the software have to be running for this feature or is in the bios/hardware and already on? What about for OC mode, which way to tick the box for best performance? Thanks!

Set your fan speeds in CCC, Crimson to manual under the OCing thing for the lowest temps.

When you are going to play a game I would recommend turning it off, mine went up to 80 celsius like that and it lagged every 30 seconds.

I know this is a bit old but I will answer because I had the same question!
I knew of the feature of the fans turning on just when they reached certain temperature but wanted to know a little bit more.

If you have the 0dB fan ON : It will turn on when the card reach a certain temperature ñ
0dB fan OFF: The fans will spin normally like any other card, it's incredibly quiet, like literally it doesn't sound loud (I have a GTX 1060 ).

NOTES: I noted that with 0dB off the temperatures of the card went down like (started at 44-45 and are right now at 39°) 5° Celcius (41° Farenheit) just on the desktop , maybe playing they will get down a little bit
