Asus GPU Tweak II Install Help!!!

Hey everyone,

So ever since I got my Asus Strix 1070 OC and tried to install GPU Tweak II, I haven't been able to get it to install properly. I've tried all the fixes on google such as using windows fix it tool and gpu tweak removal. But none of these methods work. Every time I go to install I get the same InstallShield Error (see SS: https://gyazo.com/3ce268583be029b515601ad9056b6332 )

If anyone has a fix for this I would love to hear it! Thanks in advance!

Actually somehow got it to work this afternoon. I don't know exactly what did it but this is a rough outline of what I did. If people are experiencing the same as I did and need a more detailed walkthrough, Ill do my best to retrace my steps and give you a better answer.

First I went into "InstallShield" driver files in C:\Windows\SysWOW64. Get to the folder that is labelled either "7", "8", or "9" (I believe it should be 9, because that is the latest version). Then I changed the permissions on all the files in that folder to be full control for every user on the system. After that I went into cmd prompt and ran regsvr32 on all of the .dll, IDriver, and IDriver2 files in that driver folder that I had just changed the permissions on. All of the regsvr commands that I ran came back with an error message saying the file could not be found. I just tried to install GPU Tweak II again after that and it worked. So I have no idea if it was either the regsvrs I ran or just changing the permissions that made it work. All I know is that it is not an issue with GPU Tweak, its an issue with InstallShield. So if anyone else has a similar issue, I'd recommend checking InstallShield's forums first.
