Hye all... is there anyone here using graphic card asus GT 740 DFOC 2GDDR5 dual fan? I'm looking for the driver from the original CD.. not from the web..

Any specific reason why you need the disc driver version?

If no luck finding someone who does to give you driver version details then this might do.

I've try using web driver but keep problem.. even I fresh format n update my bios also not working.. First i think the GPU problem.. but from my previous thread, someone told me that if the GPU problem, the display wont appear at all.. but in my case, the display is appear but cant install the driver

What was the error message?

Try that driver above. Right click it and run as administrator.

when i install the driver, the pc unable to boot unless safe mode.

I've try with both win 7 64bit n 32bit

List complete specs including psu make and model.

Safemode loads basic driver, there isn't any elevation in power or clocks.

Sounds like either the card can't handle the increased clocks and power the driver initiates in normal Windows meaning faulty card or the psu isn't suppling enough.

A bit about my PC
PSU : Silverstone 600w 80 plus
Mobo : Gigabyte Z77 HD3
Processor : Core i3 2100
Ram : 6GB DDR3
HDD : wdc 2TB

Another question. The GDDR5 version has a 6pin pcie connector, the DDR3 doesn't. Does your card require one and is it plugged? Should be a plug at the rear of the card if it does.

yes. it is plugged. If not, the display wont come out at all

Yeah, that is usually the case. I'd suggest trying a different card or this one in another machine.
